Do it however and wherever you want. Wherever you are—a hammock, a comfy chair with your dog by your side, a public place like your favorite coffee shop or bookstore, or a bubble bath to relax.
Sharing some of your favorite children’s books with people who know kids is a great idea. Describe the moment you realized you loved reading so much. Although you might think your child is too young to understand the benefits of reading fully, you should still introduce them to the fun of reading at any age. Learning new words and improving language skills are aided by reading to them.

The local Rotary Club’s offer to read aloud to kids is very much appreciated, especially since many schools already celebrate this day.
Your club can have a great local project that promotes the worth and enjoyment of reading by contacting the local school and setting up visitation times with the classrooms. Don’t let your club miss the chance to help kids in your area—more than half of the clubs in our district have done Rotary missions before.
What is the purpose of Read Across America Day?
