Next week, on Friday, September 22, the $125,000 John Hettinger for fillies and mares will be the first New York-bred stakes of the meet. The Grade 3 Noble Damsel for fillies and mares will go after the $125,000 state-bred Ashley T. Cole for horses with at least three years of age on September 23. The four-day weekend will end on September 24 with the Bertram F. Bongard and the Joseph A. Gimma, two seven-furlong races for state-bred youngsters worth a total of $125,000.
