Sussex County Election Day 2022

Even though the election is over, the process of counting the votes is still going on. A lot of important issues were on the ballot, such as all 12 district seats in the New Jersey House of Representatives, school board and municipal positions, and several referendum propositions. During this year’s redistricting, several towns were moved to different districts, which meant that some voters saw names they didn’t know on their ballots.

Even though Election Day is over, the work of collecting ballots and finishing the results is still going on. By adding referendum questions, people were able to have a direct say on big issues that affected their communities. People in the area take these elections very seriously because municipal and school board positions are very important to how the area is run.

Before this election cycle, there was redistricting, which changed the electoral boundaries and who represented which towns and districts. Because of this reordering, voters in affected areas would have put their support behind politicians they didn’t know. This shows how important it is to keep up with changes in election districts and political developments.

Sussex County Day 2022

Sussex County Day

We had a party when our Wyker Road building was re-dedicated. We celebrated the official opening of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMAVA) new office on our land, which was a big deal.

Our group was proud of the rededication ceremony, which showed that we are dedicated to honoring and helping veterans and active-duty military personnel. When the DMAVA office opened in our building, we reaffirmed our promise to help people who have served our country.

The DMAVA office is a great addition to our building because it provides important services to veterans, service members, and their families. We both want to protect the health and well-being of people who have bravely served our country, and this relationship shows that.

We reaffirmed our commitment to making the workplace welcoming and open to veterans and military members. We opened our doors to the DMAVA and welcomed them to their new home. We’re happy to give them a place where their needs can be met and their contributions recognized.
