Chez Simon Cantine Urbaine won le Burger Week in Montreal for the third year in a row. The Hochelaga resto also ranked #3 in Canada for their entry called LE BWB, featuring “a ridiculous amount of bacon.”
Le Burger Week says that the famous diner Chez Simon Cantine Urbaine has once again made the best burger in Montreal this year. It was “LE BWB,” which won first place, for the Hochelaga restaurant, which was ranked third in Canada this year. At the Montreal Food Festival in 2022 and 2021, Chez Simon Cantine Urbaine got first place for their “Le Classique Urbaine” and “Bacon + Bacon + Bacon” burgers, which showed how good their cooking was.
It makes Carlo even happier to have won because he was so close to winning Burger Week the year before, but he came in second. The Magnifico didn’t win either week, but it showed strength by falling to third place at the beginning of week two and then coming back to win the national title.
