In order to show how serious the event is, LRADAC asks people to wear black to respect these lives. The LRADAC prevention team will hand out information about drug abuse and death, as well as free fentanyl testing strips and Narcan. This medicine can quickly reverse an opioid overdose.
The Black Balloon Day event will take place on Monday, March 6, at the 2711 Colonial Drive LRADAC parking lot. At 10 a.m., there will be a special press conference.
