Children ages 2 to 13 can enjoy a unique and developmentally appropriate camping adventure at Twin Oaks Day Camp. There are many things to do in our program, such as sports, arts and crafts, woodworking, theater, music, swimming, late nights, and the chance to meet new people. A lot of kids become part of the Twin Oaks community. They stay with us for years and often move on to our Counselor-In-Training program. This family keeps growing and is happy to have new members.

Still, there was a fashion change. Henry Byron Moore, who took over as Secretary after Bagot, made Oaks Day stand out as Ladies’ Day. Moore worked at Flemington in that role for 44 years.
After the chaos of Melbourne Cup Day, Flemington’s Oaks Day was a calmer day at the races. Big fields and stands, with lots of room for “seeing and being seen,” showed that things were becoming less tense.
