On a sad note, it’s important to remember the terrible event that happened in San Jose Pinula on March 11th, 2017, when a huge fire killed at least 38 children who were at a school. Also, international tensions between the Netherlands and Turkey rose when the Dutch government refused to let a plane carrying Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavrusoglu land. This happened right before he was supposed to speak at a rally in Rotterdam to encourage people to vote “Yes” in April’s constitutional vote.

The Dutch government and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan then got into an angry argument in which the words “Nazi remnants” and “fascists” were used. The situation got even worse when Dutch police took the Turkish Family Minister Fatma Betul Sayankaya to the border with Germany and made her leave Rotterdam.

There are twelve zodiac signs, and each one has its pros and cons, traits, goals, and way of looking at life and relationships. People born on March 11th, 2017, are Pisces.

Pisces wants to avoid being alone and make relationships with other people and the world around them. In their hearts, they really want their dreams and wishes to come true. This sign is interested in being alone, sleeping, romance, music, swimming, and spiritual problems. Know-it-alls, criticism, and any violence are things that it hates.

Caring, creativity, insight, kindness, knowledge, and musical skill are some of Pisces’ strong points. One of their flaws is that they tend to feel fear, overconfidence, sadness, and a need to run away from reality. They might also be more likely to become victims or heroes. Bulls and Virgo are Pisces’ best friends.

Harriet Tubman Day to be celebrated on March 11, 2017

There is a holiday called Harriet Tubman Day every year on March 10th, 1913, to remember the late Underground Railroad conductor. Tubman was born into slavery in 1820 and is famous for leading more than 300 enslaved people on over 20 separate trips through Maryland and Delaware in search of freedom. One of these was when she ran away from a farm in 1849 in Dorchester County, Maryland.

During the Civil War, Tubman worked as an abolitionist, a charity, and a Union spy. She helped free enslaved people a remarkable 100% of the time, which made her famous all over the country. Her hard work is shown by the fact that she was seen traveling through Sussex and Kent counties in Delaware, where she got help from Black families and often worked with Wilmington’s famous abolitionist, Thomas Garrett.

On Saturday, after the memorial service, there will be events for the whole family at the Delaware History Museum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the Wilmington Friends Meeting House (401 N. West St.) from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. You can call 302-655-7161 or email deinfo@dehistory.org to make a reservation for the family events.

Things you need to know today: March 11, 2017

Friday, a federal judge in Wisconsin said that President Trump’s revised executive order, which is mostly about letting refugees into the U.S. and letting people come from six mostly Muslim countries, will not stop the wife and only child left behind of a Syrian refugee who has already been granted asylum in the U.S. from coming to the U.S. This decision only affects the family in question; it doesn’t stop the whole order from going into effect.

William Conley, President Barack Obama’s choice for U.S. District Court Judge, talked about how the plaintiff’s husband and children in Aleppo, Syria, are in grave danger of being permanently hurt because their lives are constantly threatened. At least four more court challenges are likely to happen before the new decree goes into effect at midnight on Wednesday. The decision is more important than these problems.

On Saturday, Vice President Mike Pence will go to Louisville, Kentucky, to support the Trump administration’s plan to change the Affordable Care Act and the way health care is provided. Sen.
