In honor of Global Men’s Day on November 19, the Public Health Agency (PHA) wants men who are nervous or upset, especially those who are in a crisis, to start talking about how they feel. The main goal of Global Men’s Day in 2023 is to have “zero male suicide.”
“You can avoid suicide; it’s not inevitable,” said Fiona Teague, who is in charge of mental health and emotional well-being for the PHA in her area. Suicidal thoughts can happen to anyone, no matter what age or income level. Guys who are having mental problems need to talk to someone right away. It’s important to know that if these feelings and thoughts come up, there is help and support available.
Some people think it’s weak for guys to talk about their feelings. But talking about stress, anxiety, and depression with others is a sign of strength because it can help them feel better.
“The most important thing men can do is seek help from friends, family, their doctor, or a mental health professional.”
“Our mental health is just as important as our physical health.” We should take care of mental pain just as quickly as we do physical pain.
“There’s always optimism that things can get better, and initiating a conversation about your mental health is the initial stride toward improvement.”
Men can call the Lifeline service at 0808 808 8000 to talk about any problem. The line is staffed by trained counselors who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Lifeline Service Team Leader Mark Kernohan said, “Sometimes we can’t solve problems on our own, and it can be hard to ask for help and support.” Still, the first thing you should do is reach out and start a talk. Meeting a stranger can be helpful because it makes it easier to explain what’s going on. People will pay attention to and hear you.”
Celebrating International Men’s Day in the workplace
Global Men’s Day is celebrated every year on November 19 to bring attention to the importance of men’s mental health, especially the mental health of men and boys who face discrimination, violence, homelessness, self-harm, abuse, and social isolation because of their gender.
The goal of Global Awareness Day is to bring attention to strong male role models and men in families and communities. It also wants to urge men to talk about their mental health safely and openly.
And finally, it wants to celebrate diversity and make the world a safer and better place for people of all gender identities. To do this, it stresses the need to deal with male self-destruction and bias against men, as well as men’s welfare and health problems.
This is a very worrying number from the Office for National Statistics in 2021: “Approximately three-quarters of self-destructions were males.” Men in the UK need more and longer-term help with their mental health problems.
Men are more likely than women to hurt themselves. No one knows for sure why, but some things that could be risk factors or causes are mental health problems, abuse, bullying, discrimination, trauma, substance abuse, relationship problems, or social and economic problems like unemployment.

Tuesday, June 13 th is Men’s Mental Health Day, and we’re ready to talk. Men experience the full range of mental health issues, from disordered eating to anxiety to suicide. But sometimes it’s hard to talk about, and sometimes it’s hard to tell when you should go further and seek help.
Things I think about mental health:
Mental health refers to a person’s ability to deal with life’s stresses, know their strengths and weaknesses, study and work effectively, and contribute to their community. It is an important part of health and well-being that supports our ability to make decisions, build relationships, and change the world we live in. Cognitive health is a basic human right and a key part of personal, social, and economic progress.
More people are cognitively well than those who don’t have any cognitive diseases. Cognitive well-being is on a wide range that is seen differently by different people, with different levels of complexity and anxiety and possibly very different social and therapeutic results.
People who are in cognitive well-being situations are more likely to have lower levels of cognitive goodness, but this isn’t always or definitely the case. These situations include cognitive impairments, psychosocial handicaps, and other cognitive conditions that cause a lot of pain, poor performance, or the risk of self-harm.

For example, International Men’s Day, which is held on November 19, gives people a chance to think about men’s mental health and other issues that affect men.
Because awareness campaigns and holidays change all the time, I suggest looking at more recent sources, official health organizations, or relevant advocacy groups to get the most up-to-date information on Men’s Psychological Well-being Month or similar events. Richardson Healthcare says that one in eight men in England has a common mental health problem. Seventy-seven percent of men asked said they felt anxious, stressed, or depressed. The top three problems are
32% of people experience stress at work.
31% were worried about money.
23% are worried about their health.
Every year on June 13, Men’s Mental Health Day is a reminder of how important it is to take care of men’s mental health all over the world. This Day also breaks down cultural stigmas around men’s mental health and encourages open conversations about the problems they may be having.
